Saturday 1st July 2023 We (Durham Scratch Choir) assembled at the Cathedral cloisters outside the Chapter House at 10:45 to warm up before our performance in the Cathedral which was scheduled for 11:00am.
The choir had been looking forward to this amazing opportunity for a good while and there was a hushed anticipation within the group and quite a few nerves being jangled before we started the performance, but once we started warming up and with Andy's calming words we were all ready to sing our hearts out.
After the ten minute warmup we gather-
ed our possessions and walked the small
distance to the Chapel of Nine Altars near to St. Cuthbert's shrine; and assembled for our performance.
